Snowflake Hypnotherapy
Can anyone be hypnotised?

Can you get stuck in hypnosis?
No. As hypnosis cannot make you do anything you don't want to do you retain the ability to break the trance state any time you wish.

Can I speak in hypnosis?
Yes. At any time during the session, if you need to act upon (say) a fire alarm, you will be fully alert. You are encouraged to talk in uncovering sessions.

Is Hypnotherapy anything like stage hypnosis?
No, stage hypnosis is used for entertainment. Clinical hypnotherapy is used purely for therapeutic purposes. It is a private and confidential process.

Can I be made to do anything against my will?
No, in fact you would be shocked out of the hypnotic state if such a thing happened. Therapists adhere to strict code of ethics always.

Is it a good idea to see my doctor before visiting you?
If you suspect that there is a physical cause for a problem then your doctor should be consulted.

Will I go to sleep?
No, you will just be totally relaxed.
